Another amazing weekend with my man, we took a little trip to Reelfoot Lake. The state park houses eagles, owls, and hawks. We got some great upclose shots of the eagles. Walking along the boardwalk was almost risky, the lake is beyond full of water with levels rising–you can see it seeping up below the dock.
Today is one of the few times I can say I watched the sun both rise and set. This morning I got to watch the sun rise behind the boat, it was so peaceful. Then this evening as I was driving back to Greenbrier the orange glow was mesmerizing.
We actually let a non-crappie on the boat. I only posted a photo of the best crappie today on FB, you can guess who caught it.
…The only bad/gross part of the day was we used “wax worms” aka maggots as bait–some days I can be a prissy girl, today was nearly one of them 😉
Thank you James for a great weekend full of adventures!!!
